Sankofa Tours is a subsidiary of Experiential Education, a company established to provide cultural, heritage and environmental tours to the local and international market.  Our programs include tours of historical sites and places of interest on the island of New Providence as well as on the Family Islands of Exuma, Eleuthera, Andros and Grand Bahama.

 

     Meet our tour guides who are well trained professionals with experience ranging from 35 to 25 years in education, guiding, tourism and hospitality.

 

     Joan P. Rolle has been an educator for over 35 years.  She has served the Bahamian community as classroom teacher, administrator, teacher trainer and curriculum specialist. Miss Rolle is especially passionate about the sustainable use of the environment and knowledge of cultural heritage for the healthy growth and development of the individual. Miss Rolle is one of the principals of Experiential Education, the parent company of Sankofa Tours and is involved in the creation of educational programs and materials and environmental encounters to support the theory that it is only through the unity of body, mind and soul with nature and cultural heritage that we will be able to live life to the fullest and preserve our wonderful heritage as universal beings and global citizens
